National Honors Society raises funds for the hungry

Students and faculty have done their part in donating cans to help feed the hungry. The annual Food Drive, sponsored by Harding’s National Honor Society, was held through November 1. To encourage donations weekly rewards were given to class winners. Previous class winners have received ice cream and other sweet treats as prizes.

To finish the fundraiser NHS is hosted Bingo Night, in which anyone can compete to win a prize such as gift cards.

Last year NHS manage to raise the equivalent of 600 cans, this year they are close to reaching a little over half.
