After selling out at the spring plant sale, Leslie Piccolo is expecting a big turn out at the upcoming fall plant sale on Oct. 2-3.

“One of my goals is to get us on the plant shopping map for people to say, ‘I’m going to get mine at Harding Charter Prep,’ instead of going to TLC or Lowes,” Piccolo said.

The sale will feature 7,000 pansies as well as ornamental cabbage.

“They’re both cold-weather crops that will do well in Oklahoma,” Piccolo said.

According to Piccolo, a flat of 18 plants will be $20 and individual flowering cabbages will be $4 each. Don’t forget about Piccolo crackers being sold too! A gallon size bag will be on sale for $10.

All money will be going towards the greenhouse and the garden. The sale will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.
