Fall break is almost here. Filling all that free time can be difficult, so here is a list of what one could possibly do.
Since Halloween is quickly approaching, pumpkin picking is available at your local pumpkin picking site. If you don’t know an available place, you could go to http://www.pumpkinpatchesandmore.org/OKpumpkins.php#listings for a list of places near you.
If prefer science and fish to pumpkin carving, then head on down to the Jenks Aquarium or the Oklahoma City Zoo. Also, the Science Museum of Oklahoma, located at 2100 Northeast 52nd Street, is having their usual Bright Nights event of Harry Potter on Oct. 26 and 27.
While we are in between the summer blockbuster and holiday seasons at the movie theaters, there are still plenty of new flicks for you to see. Argo, Paranormal Activity Four, and Here Comes the Boom are coming out in Harkins Theaters and all open on Friday, Oct. 18.

However, there is something to be said for staying home and enjoying the comfort of your couch. There are plenty of college football and Major League Baseball games on to satisfy even the most adamant of sports fans. Also, Big Bang Theory on CBS is all-new Thursday, Oct. 18; NBC’s Thursday night is all-new with 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, and The Office; and Once Upon a Time on ABC is all new on Sunday night at 7 p.m. local time.
