The January Awesome Eagles have been announced.
Senior Julius Stanfield was nominated by Media Center Specialist Kristena Rudloff, Stanfield helped around the library when Rudloff was gone.
Junior Saibra Journey was nominated by English teacher Kate Ferguson.
“Saibra is always enthusiastic in class, participates in class and is always delighted to be here,” Ferguson said.
Elizabeth Shokoya, a sophomore, was nominated by librarian Kristena Rudloff for closing the library down while Rudloff was away.
Freshman TaShauna Thompson was nominated by conceptual physics teacher Dan Hounslow. Hounslow saw Thompson in the hallway before class helping a senior pick up their things that they had dropped.
“We have Awesome Eagles to ensure students that do good deeds are recognized,” said Head Principal Justin Hunt. “We try to make the students be recognized at least once per year, and spread it out over the career of the students.”
