The Singeasy is back for a second year! A variety of talent will fill the air in the cafeteria on Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.
Featuring students singing, playing the piano, along with group performances from band and choir, the event was popular last fall, prompting the fine arts department to bring back the event for a second time in the new building.
“The Singeasy is a talent show meets jazz meets coffee shop performance,” Taylor said. “We want to show case student talent.”
VIP tickets will be $10, and the general admission will be $5. VIP tickets are for the performer’s family and staff, and any extras will be sold to the public. VIP ticket holders will get a drink, dessert, and reserved seating for the evening. General admission ticket holders can purchase drinks and snacks at the event. The proceeds will go to the fine arts department to help pay for contest fees, music and other needs for music classes.
“If everybody knocks it out of the park, we will make it work,” Taylor said.
Tickets can be purchased through Taylor or Gillis. Contact them at [email protected] or [email protected].
