Michelle Malkin’s Twitter bio describes herself as a “little brown woman with a big mouth.” The American conservative blogger, political commentator and author founded the conservative websites, Twitchy and Hot Air. She has been known to oppose unemployment benefits, giving the statement of “If you put enough government cheese in front of people they are going to just keep eating it and kicking the can down the road… people will just delay getting a job until the three weeks before the benefits run out,” on This Week with George Stephanopoulos when she starred as a guest news analyst. However, having a woman in office would be a total change from what America is used to.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

The 43-year old retired WWE Superstar-now-actor has shown interest in politics before. He is a so-called Republican but is known to support non-partisan group organizations. Johnson has been recognized for his strong support of education. Johnson has donated $1 million dollars to the University of Miami and $1,000 to the Valley Education Fund. In 2012, Johnson told Fox News that he would not rule out a political career.

“I think in order for politicians to be successful, you have to be passionate about politics. I care about our country, but right now I can make impact in other ways. But maybe one day,” he said.

Kevin Bacon

This Footloose actor is definitely unafraid of sharing his views. Bacon is a liberal Democrat with a history of donating thousands of dollars to Democratic presidential nominee, John Edwards, in 2007. After Barack Obama won the nomination, Bacon outright supported him. Bacon has strong views on liberal social issues such as gay marriage and women’s reproductive rights — both of which he supports. Through a PBS Network show called Finding Your Roots, it was even discovered that Bacon shares a common ancestor with President Obama and they are twelfth cousins, ten times removed.

Ian Somerhalder

This Vampire Diaries star barely makes the age requirement for President of the United States at the age of 36. Somerhalder is a liberal Democrat as well. He is a strong environmentalist and founder of the Ian Somerhalder Foundation, which advocates living green and conserving energy but the most prominent area of focus is animal welfare. Somerhalder is also one of the founders of Go Green Mobile Power, a sustainable portable energy company. Somerhalder wants to make a sanctuary for youth with behavioral problems where they can interact with animals that have been abused or abandoned.
