It’s the end of October, the NBA season has begun.
The Oklahoma City Thunder is starting off strong, as of Oct. 31 they are 4-0. They beat the Denver Nuggets, Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Hawks and the San Antonio Spurs.
They have won these games by a margin of 12 points or more. Currently, they rank first in the NBA in opponent points per game at 95.9, rank first in blocks per game with 7.4 and rank first in point differential with +17.4.
Their defense has been top tier, acquiring lockdown defender Alex Caruso and top center Isaiah Hartenstein (has not played this season due to injury). Star Center Chet Holmgren is currently second in the NBA with 3.1 blocks per game. Rising Star Jalen Williams is fourth in the NBA with 2.1 steals per game.
The Thunder held young star Victor Wembanyama to a career low points.
Despite the early shooting struggle, the Thunder have found a way to stay resilient and work together to close out the games strong. They recently took down the Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Clippers, and the Orlando Magic to be 7-0.
They are the first team in NBA History to start of 7-0 and win all games by a margin of 10+pts.
