Two Rooms

Natia Lewchuk, Reporter

In contrast to last year’s Sixty-Second Plays, this year’s play focuses on one plot and two rooms.

“Two Rooms” by Lee Blessing follows an American hostage kidnapped by Arabs, and his wife, who has removed all furniture and decorations from her room in order to feel closer to her husband.

As the play progresses a reporter interviews her in an attempt to turn her story into a career breakthrough and a State Department official who is trying to make her aware of the entire situation surrounding her husband.

The cast consists of sophomore Nik Dawson, junior Peyton Wollard, senior Amoree Wagner and  sophomore Alisha Hemani.

The first act of the play will be performed this week on Friday during assembly, with a performance of both acts on Friday evening and Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $3. If you purchase a ticket for the Friday assembly performance you can bring that same ticket back and be admitted free for the evening performance.
