The orchestra The orchestra performed “Dreamscape” composed by Deborah Rabinowitcz and “Schottisches” arranged by Larry Conley.

“I wasn’t really nervous before because I’ve done it before but I was a little worried as I was playing with a new group and I wasn’t really sure how we would all play together but we did really well!” said freshman Poojita Sitaraman.”I’m really proud of us.”

Orchestra director Kelli Taylor said she was pleased with the outcome.

“The judges are always tough, but fair. They gave us some great feedback on ways to improve our performances for the future,” she said.

The orchestra followed up their contest with a winter concert on Dec. 10 with the band and choir.
