Sean (Diddy) Combs, an American songwriter/producer was arrested on Sept. 7 on 120 counts of sex trafficking, forced labor, coercion to engage in prostitution and narcotics distribution. Combs was born in 1969 in Harlem, New York. He gained popularity after he put out “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down” in 1996 which spent 28 weeks on the top 100 billboard.
In November 2023, his ex-girlfriend, singer and model Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit against him. Ventura’s lawsuit alleged years of abuse and sexual misconduct, including rape and physical assault. This was the beginning of hundreds of allegations about him and his infamous “Diddy Parties.” Recently, 120 different people came forward with charges, one being a 9-year-old who claims he was raped.
Tony Buzbee, prosecutor, said, “The allegations will include: violent sexual assault or rape, facilitated sex with a controlled substance, dissemination of video recordings, and sexual abuse of minors.” He also added that he has over 3,000 people who have approached him and are willing to testify on the case.
Amongst the allegations are theories that Diddy was the one who ordered the kill on famous rappers Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur.
There has also been a list of A-list celebrities released, listing who regularly attended the alleged “Diddy Parties” and kept quiet about what happened at them.
A few celebrities have spoken out against the wrongdoings of Combs including Curtis “50 Cent” “Jackson, Marshall ”Eminem” Mathers, Jermaine “J Cole” Cole and Micah “Kat” Williams. J Cole even wrote a hit in his album “Born Sinner.” He sang “She Knows,” which is theorized to be pointing to all the people who have been killed by the Combs’ affiliates.
