HCP students are counting down the days until fall break. Whether it’s traveling, relaxing at home or sleeping, everyone has their own way of spending the week off.
Fall break is perfect to unwind after a busy first quarter. Some might take a short trip with their families or explore nearby cities. Also, there are people who look forward to more cozy days at home.
“I plan on going to Dallas for Fright Fest,” said sophomore Lela Broom.
Some students like to go for the fall theme to get into spirit. You could go to a pumpkin patch with friends or family, carve, or paint your pumpkin to make it fun. If you love a good scare, haunted mazes are perfect for getting scared or a good laugh.
Other options are staying home watching Halloween movies like Hocus Pocus, Scream, Coraline and many more. Baking treats and inviting friends makes it cozy for a day in.
No matter how students spend their fall break, it is a chance to spend a week relaxing and recharging before going back to school.
