Navigators are a group of senior students who come together to help freshmen students adjust to high school life. They help with anything a freshman might need help with or need to know throughout the whole year. As freshmen enter high school, this senior group of students help provide excitement and comfort while also preparing them for things ahead.

Navigators also make sure to create a fun and inviting environment by creating activities for them to do during their advisory time, otherwise known as Nav Time.

“Staying organized and buying a planner helps tremendously, take the day class by class, manage your time well,” said Makaya Marshall.

“Actually, try this year, your grades matter,” Jazmyn Nelson said. “Try new things such as clubs and sports.”

“Come into school with an open mind every day, join clubs and try new things,” Shareefah James said. “Always know somebody is here for you, and don’t stress, it is okay to make mistakes because you are human. Find time to enjoy school. ”

“Stay on task, get things done on time and join clubs and talk to new people,” said Nayana Twins.

“Have a positive mind set, get good sleep and stay in dress code,” said Sebastian Gallegos. “Take it one day at a time and don’t stress out too much.”

“Attendance matters!” said Bianca Dean. “Don’t wait to finish work at school; you won’t have time.”
