The 2023 Student Council Spirit week has passed! It was from Nov. 6 through Nov. 10. Monday was Pajama Day, Tuesday was 2000’s Hollywood Star Day, Wednesday was Teacher vs. Students, Thursday was 2000’s TV Show/ Movie Character Day, and Friday was class colors. It cost $5 for the whole week. Prepay was available Friday during lunch and after school or on Monday or Tuesday in the morning. Once you payed, you got a wristband, and you must wear it the whole week. 

There were also food trucks for the whole week. Monday was The Baked Bear and Blazing Jays, on Tuesday there was Soul Food Shak, Wednesday there was Tia’s Home Cooking, on Thursday there was HTeaO, and Friday there was Contrabandz Lab Ice Cream.  

There were also activities on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Monday was Students vs. Teacher kickball game on the softball field at 3:30 p.m., there was no activity on Tuesday, Wednesday there was a Powderpuff Football on the soccer field at 3:30p.pm., Thursday was a skating night at Star Skate from 6 to 8 p.m. in Midwest City, and on Friday there was the opening home basketball game in the big gym starting at 4:00 p.m. 

In the lobby, spirit week sweatshirts were available to pre-order for $25.

“I hope everyone dresses up in spirit day attire and supports the basketball team at their first home game on Friday night,” said Student Council President Lily Boevers.
