The novel “A Good Girls Guide to Murder” Holly Jackson is about a teenage girl, Pippa, who is doing a project on a murder that happened five years ago in her hometown for an end-of-year capstone project.  

Andie Bell was said to have been murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh, but Pippa doesn’t believe that to be true despite all the evidence proving otherwise. Pippa and Sal’s younger brother Ravi investigate to try and discover the truth about what happened the week Andie Bell was murdered.   

This book has many twists and turns and is mysterious as the reader is also trying to piece together clues as to who could have murdered Andie Bell as well as trying to figure out if Sal Singh was truly the murderer or not.

There are also two other books that sequel this one called “Good Girl, Bad Blood,” and “As Good as Dead.” Both books continue the story with the two main characters Pip and Ravi, and we get to see them develop into maybe something more.
